Kaua'i: November 2009
On Sunday, November 1, we flew from the Monterey Airport, to San Francisco, then boarded a jet for a 5+ hour flight to Kaua'i. This is our third trip to the Garden Island. At a little before 1 p.m., we landed at the Lihue Airport. |

Once we booked our rental car, a silver Mustang convertible, we drove from Lihue to Poipu where we hooked up with our cousins, Jim and Judi Kent, Stan and Maria Shaw, Glen and Cheryl Shaw, plus Debbie, a woman from Oregon Maria met on the flight over. |
After a nice visit and some excellent margaritas, we headed north to Princeville where Ollie had arranged for us to stay in a gorgeous ocean view villa from Sunday to Monday. Our first night, we had cocktails overlooking the pools, waterfalls and ocean, followed by a delicious dinner. The following links will open up a series of slideshows to showcase our adventures.
